2dae was my 1st time going out for lion dance, which is known as chut sai in hokkien, some more my seniors told me i was lucky to go to CBD area on my 1st experience. Even more lucky when i found out dat da shop which hired us for their opening of shop, hired 3 huge celebs from hong kong as their restaurant is hong kong cuisine. They are Au Yeung Chun Wah, Bobby(歐陽震華) , Raymond Lam (林峯), and 1 more i dun rmb hu and i dun recognise who is he, hahas u may noe him after seeing da pic bah.. lolz.
we reached there at arnd 12pm, den was like alot of ppl at opp street, den tot juz see see nia, coz at 1st i din noe there will be 3 huge hong kong celebs coming down to host the opening. when it was arnd 12.15, suddenly every1 juz chiong to the restaurant's entrance, wth lah.. so packed, lucky i was nt in there, stood 1 side to eat snake 1st, after dat, my senior called us over, was dam packed lah.. i was ordered to stood guard at the drum to ensure no 1 moves it, i stood for 30mins, and was informed dat da 3 celebs will reach at 1+ instead of 1pm which we were told, as time past by, more and more fans from da same fan club, could notice it as most were wearing same colored shirt or jackets, and even other fans came and join in da GREAT SINGAPORE SQEEZE. wahlao... some are dam kiasu lah..
lucky gt gt bodyguards there lah, if nt it will be DAM chaotic lah.. while i stood guard for 30mins, i had practically no place to turn lor.. and i juz observed da surroundings, gt lady in her 50s oso there! summore dress till like she is in her 30s like dat, mostly are gals lor.. some younger den me, some older, i even noticed 2 malays lah!! coz both da 2 malyas stood in front of me, i was thinking like, wth? hw did da malays even turned fanatic over hang kong celebs, lol.. no offence, i was nt being racist, and i continued standing there after 30mins, a senior came over and join me, we chatted alot of craps, lol.. obviously we had nth to do but wait lor.. we were told dat there will be a special apearance by da 3 hk celebs, den we heard loud car engines, WHOO! i turned my head to see 3 sports cars!! theres Lambo, i think theres ferrari too, but judging from da shape shld be lambo bah.. its those type of sports cars whr u will oni see it in movies like Redline, Fast and furious, piang sia.. i had no chance to take a pic, coz all da crazy fans there were like sqeezing towards the car to take pics of da hk celebs.. no 1 cared bout the car.. lol.. -.-.. grand entrance huh?
den while de 3 of dem walk towards da restaurant's entrance, da crowd also caved in with dem, piang, our troupe were on standby liao lor.. preparing to starting da drums and all, but we hardly had space for us to start.. all da fans were sqeezing us like siao.. da bodygaurds had to step in after escorting the 3 celebs to the entrance, dam style man, 1st time seeing a body guard like dat when u get to see oni in da movies, ps lah im a bit sua gu[mountain tortoise] coz i have nvr been to a concert b4.. den dat time, all da invited guests came out to welcome dem, i saw 2 DJs from 933!! 1 is Cruz Teng (丁志勇), and da other im nt very sure hu lah.. hahas. i even heard cruz sae, "wah seh, drum behind me, ltr er long ler, dun stand there" lolz.. after da 3 hk celebs opened da champagne, we were told to start, ignoring da fans, altho we had no space, true enough as told by my senior, da moment we start, me and another senior, who was also playing da "cymbals", juz pia all our energy on da cymbals to make it dam loud, da fans at 1st siam abit, but ltr ignoring da fact dat its DAM loud to their ears and juz started snapping here and there, some even pushed us..
we juz hecked cared da fact dat we had no space and juz pushed dem back, LOL.. after da event was over, we finally gt out of da GREAT SINGAPORE SQEEZE.. den while packing up, we saw a Singapore mediacorp artiste, BEN YEO (杨志龙) hahas den da whole troupe wanted to take photo with him and he agreed, after dat we went solos!! i managed to get 1 with him!! hahas
yupz dats me on da left wearing my troupe's attire ^^ and ben on da right. hahas
he sound so man in person lah.. altho his pitch was much higher on tv when he hosts the program.. lolz..
i will upload more pics on sun as im getting all the other photos from my senior as he was da photographer hahas.. u will get to see da hk celebs in da pics too, and maybe even hw SQEEZY it is there.. lol..
